At the beginning of our financial year, Pegasus Group set an ambitious target of raising £20,000 for our Charity of the Year. Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of colleagues across the business, we are delighted to share that we have already raised £19,839, with six months remaining in our fundraising year.
What is Macmillan Coffee Morning?
Macmillan Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s largest annual fundraising event, helping to provide vital support for people living with cancer and their families.
Whether it’s a small bake sale in a local community centre or a large corporate event like ours, every cup of coffee poured and every slice of cake sold helps fund the life-changing work carried out by Macmillan.
Since the event launched in 1990, Coffee Mornings have raised more than £310 million. Over the years, they have been hosted in some truly remarkable locations, including 100 feet underground, at The Shard in London and even in Antarctica.
Our fundraising journey so far
From sporting events and personal fundraising challenges to our company-wide Macmillan Coffee Morning , colleagues have gone above and beyond to support this important cause. The total raised so far reflects the strong sense of community, collaboration and social value that exists throughout the business.
As a consultancy, we recognise that creating a positive impact extends beyond the work we deliver for clients. Supporting charitable initiatives is an important part of our company culture and helps bring colleagues together around a shared purpose.
With more fundraising activities planned over the coming months, we are looking forward to continuing our support for Macmillan Cancer Support. We are incredibly proud of everyone who has contributed so far and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.
